I do. It's a bit odd actually, because I feel that M is a lot easier than CR. But I am an English person, so I guess it makes sense.

Do you think this would help me w/ college, considering I want to major in the humanities?

Do you think this would help me w/ college, considering I want to major in the humanities?

My abilities in math far surpass my skills in english but I tend to do better with cr and writing than with math.

I think a liberal arts college would value a higher cr score (unless your math score is abysmal).

CR>M here. I've always done well on the CR section, but I had to study a fair amount to bring my M score up.

800 CR, 750 M. I really lucked out and got an easy math section...

My math score isn't TOO bad - 710. However I am RDing @ Wes and I know their medians are around 720 per section.

But I'm not too excited about it either. My CR score is 750, so if I could just bring my math up 40 pts, I'd be at a 1500... that'd be wonderful. I took them in December, so I'll have to see. Can't say I studied much for that time though, since it was my 3rd time and I was pretty sick of them by then.

my CR is significantly lower than my math :( i got a 740 in math on the nov sat and i only missed two (harsh curve) but i know next time i take it ill get a 800. My CR score in nov was a 600.... i keep missing like 5-7 per CR section. IDK WHAT TO DO!! plz can anyone help me?

My math score is significantly higher than my Critical reading skills. I can barely manage a 640, while I score 800s on math all the time. Of course, these are on practice tests, but still...I never can seem to get above mid 600s and rarely miss 1 question on the math section. It doesn't even seem possible to break 700 for me...

I think CR is one of those sections that you either are naturally adept at, or work really hard over a long period of time to improve.

Math and Writing however, you kind of just have to learn the tricks. I know some kids scoring A's in Multivariable Calc in high school that aren't able to score 800 on a math section just because they miss a tricky one.

I am much better at math than I am at english but I got a 70 CR and 68 Math. Math just has a very harsh curve and I made stupid mistakes.

I'm a math person and I did alot better on CR than math lol

Agreed. I got 3 wrong and got a 710.

800 CR and 770 M

^^same 3 wrong and a 710 in march :/

Yeah I took it again in December, math didn't seem too hard. I'm hoping for no stupid mistakes and a much higher score.

Even with the harsh curve, it is hard to imagine me getting a lower math score than a CR score. Only possibility would be if I somehow only got 1 or 2 wrong for the CR section while missing a hard question or 2 on the math part, but I doubt that that is going to happen (the CR part).

I always scores higher in critical reading that in math, even on the ACT (reading and math). I have never done prep for critical reading, but I have done some prep for math. Ironic.

800 cr, 700 math....embarrassing since i consider myself a math kind of guy.

How is it that there is a general divide between those who are simply good in critical reading and those who aren't? I see 500s and even 700s much more often than 600s, which is what I would think of as average. One of the few people in my class with a score in the 600s is actually worse than me in my English class... shame I got lower than that. How do you guys get such high CR scores?!?

my CR=M

but after taking the december test, M>CR
