Who HAS NOT recieved an e-mail?

^ahahahahahaha, good one! [u sound like an idiot.]

hjsami01, i know, right? lol. but still no word :\ i suppose NYU is a reach for everyone, especially since my GPA is a little low. i’m just hoping my ECs & essays will put me over the top, since my scores are just about mid-range : P

@thisgirllisaG im in the same boat and its not like my major is super popular ( i dont think it is atleast ) so yeah idk…

and wait was the person who posted right before you making a stab at me? rejected from UW??? if so, im not sure what your talking about since i didnt apply to UW

hahaha, i just saw she must have went back to edit her post. lol, no, it’s not about u. i got rejected OOS with a 30 ACT & others have been getting rejected with a 33+…which is pretty funny considering it’s a lot of people’s safety [pretty crappy one, at that]. but i have actually gotten in to better schools, since :] haha, but that girl is pretty mentally unstable, so don’t even worry about it.

i think i applied undeclared, which may help me or hurt me, at this point. lol, who knows. have u ever visited nyu?

haha okay! and yeah i’ve visited NYU A LOT! lol i go to new york atleast once a year because i have family there, usually i go more then that and my cousins live like next to one of the NYU buildings. its an amazing school, im obsessed with it!!

call me mentally unstable all you like thisgirlisag, but i recently got the email!!! woot woooooot

ha!

lol, nice…i used to go to nyc all the time when i was younger. not so much, anymore. which is pretty sad, considering i live in nj :stuck_out_tongue: & i have yet to visit the school, but i have no doubt in my mind that i will love it :] good luck to u!

lolygagha, when did you get the email???

@thisgirllisaG yeah i haven’t really visited the school as well as i should, but i figure if i get in ill go then and get a detailed tour of the school…im crossing my fingers for both of us! good luck!

Just called admissions. Here is how the conversation went:

Me: Hi, I’m a freshman applicant to NYU and I just have a question. I know you’ve probably been asked this numerous times in the past few days, but if you did not receive the Book Your Travel Plans e-mail, does this mean you have been denied admission?

Student Ambassador: No, it does not mean you have been denied admission. That e-mail was only sent out to a select pool of applicants that have been accepted to their specific program. It does not mean you have been denied admission.

^I know it’s been reiterated multiple times, but sort of leaves some lingering hope.

There was an additional, new, email sent out today.

New official acceptance email is being sent out as we speak in waves. So lookout guys!!

^so this email will be going out to ALL of the admitted students, then? when will the last of them be out?

Is this new email that is going out just for the same people who received the first “book you travel plans” email, or is it sent to all students?

from what im seeing not everyone who got the official acceptance got that book your travel plans emails, i guess we all have some chance still! iim praying we do atleast =) i never received any emails, its a bit of a bummer, but i guess i cant do anything about it now, if its meant to be it’ll happen. i really hope we all get in (to those of us who really see ourselves at NYU)

Just letting you guys know that I did NOT receive a travel email, but DID receive an acceptance email today.

congrats!!!

hey guys i dont know if someone has responded to the travel arrangements thing… thats not it because my friend got in today and we live in CT, about an hour drive outside the city

a girl i know (we’re in texas) just got accepted to CAS, but she didnt get the travel email. hope that helps(:

good to know that many people who didnt recieve the travel email still got accepted.Still hoping for LSP. 3.5 GPA, 2120 SAT, 8 APs
There’s still hope! especially because many got admitted with sub par grades at my school
