<p>GOOD NEWS! Guys I just called NYU and this time he said straight out that the e-mails ARE coming out in batches meaning WE STILL HAVE A CHANCE!</p>
<p>When I asked if more e-mails will be out today, he said yes they should have more e-mails sent out today as well as through the rest of the week next week. He even apologized and was like yeah, I know this is really frustrating.</p>
<p>For some reason that guy gave me so hope lol. :)</p>
<p>Oh and I’d like to add that he also said “honestly, this is really random because some applications are still being read right now.” when I asked how the batches are being determined like if it was by state. </p>
<p>So idk how much truth there is to that but that’s what the ambassador said.</p>

<p>Thank you SOOO much. I’ve literally been dying, because all my friends have heard from NYU who (in my opinion) deserve to get in and even some who it was iffy. I hope I get an email soon! NYU might be my first choice, and I really would love to be accepted…</p>

<p>ugh i didnt get a revel email or an aceptance email and I applied to stern (live in long island). i really hope that @hardworker is right ,and theyre not just giving us false hope 
because alot of ppl from my school got aceptance letters, and my friend got into stern he got a travel email and an acceptnace yesterday. ughhhh</p>
<p>OK. I JUST hung up with “Dave” in admissions. He could not offer any real clarity with regard to who did or didn’t receive E-mails. He did, however, state that letters are going out today and that “only select students received E-mails.” I pushed a bit and asked if no E-mail means no admissions and he said “nope we stopped the e-mails for various reasons.” Sounds like E-mails may have started to go out before they were supposed to. Also sounds like the admissions office at NYU is not well organized. </p>
<p>When our parents applied to colleges there were no blogs, e-mails, or texts…</p>

<p>I’m seriously going crazy…like obsessively checking my email every hour…walking to my F’en mailbox at-least twice a day. I’m paranoid, I already got my rejection letter from Macaulay…plzz not NYU. I don’t think I can stand looking at my parents if I don’t get into NYU. As of rite now I don’t knw if I should cry or have hope…I really don’t knw what to think. I’m going crazy. =/</p>
<p>Rapden, I don’t know HOW MANY tears I’ve shed just knowing that I haven’t received e-mails yet haha, but wherever we end up, we’ll succeed! BUT I AM DEFINITELY HOPING IT’S NYU!</p>
<p>I emailed admission and gave a serious email with a joking spin on it. I asked “where my acceptance email was?” I got a response and it explained the same thing about the emails and how only certain people go them and that letters went out today. But the guys also said “Patience is a virtue.” I really hope that means I’m in!!! Everybody just hope that you get a letter next week!!!</p>
