is the “admitted student” tab proven to be indicative of acceptance? when i click on the tab and view the financial information, it appears that i have received a scholarship. i have yet to receive an envelope with my decision, so am unsure if that tab may be a fluke or not. any ideas anyone?

^ They don’t make flukes like that.

My daughter received her package today - admitted with a full tuition scholarship. :-)

Did everyone get a financial aid package with their acceptance letter?

I didn’t :/

Sounds like some financial aid packages are going out late. Perhaps the volume of work was overwhelming and perhaps some information was missing, I dunno. If they said it will be first week of april for FA, then be patient. You have until May 1 to decide where to attend. They had over 33,000 applications this year!

Did anyone from Mass. hear yet?

In Rhode Island and haven’t heard yet. Already received today’s mail and nothing from Fordham … My S has been accepted to Penn State/Smeal, Northeastern (NU.in), URI (Honors/Centennial Scholarship), and U of Pittsburgh/CBA. Rejected at U of Virginia. Waiting to hear back from Brown (Stretch). Stressful but exciting times, not only waiting for decisions but contemplating finances, best fit, academics and majors, etc… Culmination of years of hard work by our kids (and us parents)!

I have access to the My Fordham, but when I click on the Applicant link and then the Financial Aid. It says 'Welcome (my D name)" and then under it - it states within this site you can check the status of your application
view a list of documents we’ve received from you
view and take action on your financial awards
view your student loan history
check the status of your student loans for the current year.

Is anyone receiving this message and if so can you tell me where to click from here. I thought it was the year boldly in the crimson color 2012/2013. but it’s not. On one hand my D is getting excited thinking that this could mean she is getting accepted because this site allows you to join groups as well. . D still hasn’t received anything via email or snail mail.

Ready4March, the page you are describing was there before. Some, though not all, admitted students have reported an Admitted Student tab in myfordham in addition to Applicant. My daughter has this, and it leads to a way to make a deposit, but has nothing about financial aid, so I’m hoping there is more to be added.

AdeleRose, acceptance letter came yesterday in Mass.

Thanks for letting me know! I’ve had paychecks that have been slow to arrive, so I’ll hope for something tomorrow.

D’s acceptance package just arrived in the mail. We live in Wisconsin. The financial aid award letter was included in the folder. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting to hear!

if i didn’t hear back yet, does that mean I got rejected?

My child has not heard from Fordham yet. It is getting down to the wire now. He has gotten into Penn State and several others. Still waiting on two.

I think I did not receive a financial aid package with my acceptance letter because Fordham keeps sending letters requesting W2s which we have informed them several times my parents do not receive and they have told us that is fine and will waive the request but continue to send such letters.
Very frustrating. :p
