NEU branded Sweethearts that said “choose me” or something like that.
I’m assuming it was just an EA admit thing. Did boys receive this or anything like it?
She thought it was cute, I found it somewhat patronizing. As if girls are easily compelled to choose a school because of $.50 worth of Valentines Day candy.
My son got the candy too and he also thought it was cute, and I think he appreciated the fact that they are thinking of their candidates. I think all EA and the recent RD merit and honors acceptances got it (I saw someone on another thread who just got in RD mention it). I don’t think it has anything to do with gender issues, they are trying to be cute to capture your daughter’s attention, and your wallet.
