I just got deferred from MIT, here we go with my stats:

AP tests: Chemistry 5, Calc AB 5, English 4

Side note-- I lived in a foreign country and I moved to California during the summer after sophomore year . Would it look bad because I never continued and Extra Curricular for more than 2 years??

Extra Currics (mostly service....):

-VP and co-founder of KIWIN'S community club at my new school (11,12)
-Group Leader of Connect Club (I taught English to orphans in a different country) (9,10)
-Varsity Tennis (only 10-> but I had to move...will this look bad?)
-Cared for disabled toddlers in foreign country during last summer when I visited..
-Science Olympiad Biology Events Captain (12)
-Literary Magazine Club (just a member who contributed a couple creative writings for this club, but unfortunately I don't have the magazine. Is it not worth putting this down? ) (10)

Awards (the area I'm lacking most...)
-Distinction of High honors at my foreign school..
-AP Scholar (I don't know if I should put this down..)

No work experience. No research.
Family-- Father and brother (MIT)
Sister (Yale, Harvard Law)
I know legacy won't really help at all. But still =/

Do I even have a chance at:
Columbia, NYU, U Chicago, Northwestern, Brown, Stanford (definitely impossible but parents are making me apply)

I plan to write my essay about all the different people I have met as a result of moving to a foreign country, and how I pursue service by co-founding a club which has grown to over 100 members..

What do you think? Even a chance?
