whoops

so when i was writing my personal statements i stated that i really wanted to study at the henry samueli school of engineering which i thought was clever since i was only applying to la and irvine (the engineering school for both are named the henry samueli school of engineering). so at the end of the app i saw that i could get a fee waiver for 4 schools so i tacked on davis and sd for the heck of it. so i already got accepted to irvine in the first batch of decisions so i guess they liked my personal statement and hopefully la will too. so how much do you think sd and davis would like it? you think they would read my essay and be like "eff this guy. he doesn't even wanna go here" and put my app in the no-chance-whatsoever bin? i don't really wanna go to davis at all and sd is a sliiiiiight maybe but I'm just curious how much things like this matter in the decisions process

so most likely the people reviewing my application wouldn’t even notice it?

Her post suggests that Davis and San Diego would evaluate your personal statement for scholarship consideration.
They would notice but it’s not going to factor into your admissions decision.
