lol no worries. I sent them an email. Hopefully by tomorrow they will tell me. Any info they give I’ll post it here, so you’ll know.

thanks jemma!!

so whos going to transfer day? if anyone for ILR is going, let me knowww? i dont know if i wanna go or not?

i don’t know if they have the transfer day for cals. last time i called and ask them they said they don’t have it for cals this year. and i don’t wana go up there again since i live in indiana. i flew there once during the summer and LOVED it sooo muchly. it would be …heartbreaking if i go there again and get a rejection letter… so i think i’ll wait and see the decision. if i get in then i’ll def be going there to see the town and cornell again.

Check out the ILR Transfer Day Itinerary: [Transfer Day: Cornell University](http://www.transferday.cornell.edu/programILR.cfm)

jemma your lack of response is beginning to worry me haha

I agree with ziiam. I don’t think CALS has their own open house this year, because I remember a couple people saying that they won’t. Maybe they switched? Idk…I wish the website had correct dates.

RileyJohn- Lol no don’t worrry I just haven’t had the chance to go in my account lol. i didn’t even know you sent me a response hahaha so sorry. Anyways I sent you a response right about now.
Hint: You’re being silly. ;)

I think I just confirmed it too. CALS does not have a transfer day: if you go to the Transfer Day webpage, provided by clicking on TFN’s link, you can view the three state-assisted schools transfer day pages. Ecology and ILR both have a schedule for the days listed, but you click on CALS and it takes you to a general transfer information session page, or on info on how to set up meetings. :/

Someone feel free to call and prove me wrong though, haha, I’d like to go for cals t-day.

Valvsu,

She finally responded here is what she said:

“Your professor can send his/her letter of recommendation by email. Please no attachments. Be sure to have the professor include your date of birth, first and last name. undergradapp@cornell.edu is where this letter may be sent to. This document may also be faxed”

I’ll tell him to fax them like now lol
Hope that helps :)

Yeah I’ll fax them over too since I have the letters in letter, and I don’t wanna ask my professors to type them up and email. What’s the fax number? THANKS, Jamma!!

officially sent out my last piece of mail to cornell today!

i don’t like when this thread isn’t in the first few hehe

I’m late on this one, but thanks Jemma. I’m still waiting on my stuff to be confirmed, but I do still have the receipts. I already ordered another transcript from my school just in case this one is never found. Even if it’s necessary right now, I’ll still need it when I apply to law school so it’s cool either way.

Got my first midterm grade put on the report by my drawing teacher today. He gladly put down an A, though with a friendly warning that I should not let my efforts drop and that I should continue signs of growth. Which I will surely try to do. At the same time, he said “Don’t go crazy,” lol =P

Time’s a-flyin’. Yay!

You welcome. Yeih! the thread is a little more active. I was beginning to get worried. I look forward to the “Reply in the Who’s applying for Cornell Spring 2010 thread” subject on my inbox (how geeky and sad thats that sound lol). I told my other professor to send a second LOR.
Now I’m all nervous. I am fighting the urge to check the self service once again, even though I know there will be no change. hahaha

^^^I haven’t forgotten about your essays. I’ll review them once I get home. Sorry, but it’s been a busy week.

don’t worry I understand.Get to them when u can ;)

jemmayale, I read in the FAQ’s on self service that it does not report how many LOR’s have been received and from who. It just reports that they did or did not receive one. I am wondering if you are able to call in and find out which ones they have received?

on the site i think it also says that they don’t keep track of those things. if your stuff is already forwarded to the adcoms for review, i doubt they wrote down little details like that.

Like Ironic said, they usually don’t keep track of which LOR they received. I sent the official one through fax today. Up till now that’s the only LOR I have on my app because I haven’t gotten a confirmation from my other professor yet. Hopefully, he will fax it tomorrow. I haven’t checked yet if they received the only LOR I sent (which is the one I faxed today) because I want to resist temptation until tomorrow morning lol
