I wish you could sign up for the OHP online on the night before cal day, since I already mailed my form in, but they're like, "first come first serve"
and i live across the country =[

anyone know if they're offering the 2nd night for OHP, after cal day, like they did last year?
it would make traveling a whole lot easier :]

and what's it like? I'm so clueless about it XD

I was able to RSVP for the second weekend in myberkeleyapp and it gave me an email saying my reservation is pending my fee and liability waiver… maybe we’re talking about two different things?

OHP is by invitation to a small group. The alumni association will mail everyone an invitation to several similar OSP events. OHP was indeed the night before Cal Day last year - D went last year and we went to Cal Day (and barely saw her).

I can’t answer the OHP question, but rider did a nice job.

But Cal Day is amazing – for prospective students AND parents. For the parents of a student with learning disabilities, it gave us the opportunity to meet the dsp counselors, figure out what our son was going to need to do, what accommodations he’d get and get the feel of the environment. Not to mention having a brew and great fries at the Bear’s Lair.

For our son, Cal Day was the deciding factor in his decision to attend Cal. He made the announcement towards the end of the day at the Bear’s Lair. He does not regret his decision.

I went to Cal Day as a Junior. It was pretty much the ****, and when I went and asked about their Philosophy program, the girl working there said “Welcome to Berkeley.” It was a nice feeling…and I didn’t correct her. :D
