Who's going to Cal Day?

get over here

If I’m going for the bridges program, will I be able to attend Cal Day?

Um. you can just ditch it and attend cal day :)

I am definitely attending. I have yet to visit Berkeley and I need to get a feel of the campus. I might not go to the SD Admit day though. I visited it over Thanksgiving Break and I’m not sure if I can go down there for the day.

88888888: haha, that sounds easy enough, but what consequences (if any) will there be? the program says that it’s mandatory to attend all the events. there will be two hours for participants to attend Cal Day though, but I think that will not be

it also states that you must tell your host if you’ll be leaving to go anywhere at all times…

I had visited Berkeley every year for four years in high school (for a speech and debate program in february), and was dead set on UCLA because I disliked Berkeley so much…but I was invited to be flown out to CalDay, and the prospect of missing school and an opportunity to party with college kids seemed too good to pass up, so I signed up anyway…

well, four years later, I’m graduating from Berkeley :-)

Was CalDay the deciding factor? Heck YES! I had, literally, the best two days of my life (up until that point) during the overnight host program weekend.

Definitely go to CalDay if you can!!!

Go Bears :-)

I dunno… last year my friend ditched it and went to shop in san fran… he just wanted the free trip lol. he came back in time for the flight.

I’m going :)

The host is a student… usually don’t care what you do… LOL.

what kind of stuff do you do with the student at the overnight program?

hahaha, lala91, I think you’ve managed to phrase your question in the most implicitly sexual way possible

haha sorry. i didn’t really think about it. it makes me laugh tho.

hmm nothing much… the responsible ones follow you everywhere and make you go places… but the other ones… just make sure you have somewhere to sleep (on the floor).

Check this out. This is the bridges program for REACH
