yuppp!!! same case over here brassmonkey

Penn WHARTON over Harvard... :(

doesnt he have to w/ scea?

scea is non-binding

but she* had to wait for the RD round to get in everywhere else

oh okay... sorry about the whole he/she mix up it was unintentional

my friend did for Pton

Penn Wharton and Princeton...not really steps down from Harvard at all.

actually about 400 admitted Harvard students ultimately turn it down.

last year 452people turn down harvard...pretty interesting...

oh..................i thought their yield was lke 87%

my friend's little brother is turning it down for a full-ride at Maryland (gemstone program) and his cousin is turning it down for deep springs i think

Deep Springs is crazy. Our Harvard-bound val brought in the brochure that he got in the mail. Nuts.

A friend I know from another school went 3/3 on HYP and is attending Princeton.

Oh yeah? Well my friend got into Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Columbia among others, I'm sure).

But she's going to Harvard. :

I think one guy from my school turned down Harvard for Princeton.

A guy from my school last year turned down Harvard for Princeton. His twin sister got into Princeton, but not into Harvard. I am not sure if that played into his decision or not.

I'm turning down Harvard for Mt. SAC Community College. I got a full ride though.

jk :)

It's on one hand amazing people turning down Harvard,
but if i got into Harvard/Stanford. I'd actually choose Stanford. A lot better to me.

Yeah, I'd definitely pick Yale over Harvard. And even though I like the other schools better, I'd probably pick Harvard over Chicago and Stanford just because it's closer to home.

my friend is deferring Harvard until next year...He's going to live in Colorado and ski for a year.

Their yield is more like 78%.

Friend turned down Harvard for the UNC Morehead Scholarship. Not really a step down there.
