Daughter Admitted. I have heard nothing but good things about this school.

Son accepted. He is so pleased.

Daughter accepted!! So excited!! Needs to decide between Gettysburg and Fairfield. Input?

oh, yeah. Did anyone get any scholarship money with their package?

Timber: I recieved an Abraham Lincoln Scholarship

I just got accepted and presidential ($15,000 a year) scholarship!!!

Any int’ll student received mail/email?

I’m int’l but heard nothing back from them yet…

^
I called the admission’s office yesterday, and the lady told me that the results for intl students will be sent via mail and e-mail (although I’m not sure about e-mail) today. Let’s wait for several more hours, keeping our fingers crossed! :)

Timber, my son is checking out Fairfield too.

got the decision email. Waitlisted. They will notify waitlist students by early July whereas most schools require the payment of deposit to be made by May 1st. How people manage this? Pay the deposit for the admitted school and wait to hear from waitlisted one?

I’m put on the waiting list tooo…second school on the waiting list already…do you guys think if i email them and ask less financial aid will help?
i’m int’l and i asked hugh FA (about 40,000 i guess?)

International, waitlisted, asked for aid. 3rd waitlist already :)

Me too wait-listed.
Hey accepted guys, plz inform them asap if u are not gonna attend it.

Daughter accepted . Abraham Lincoln scholarship. She is over the moon. Does anyone have any idea how many of these scholarships they give out?

not too many! my daughter got the Presidential – there are more of those – we heard on Monday…best of luck!

My son got the Abraham Lincoln Scholarship too, don’t now how many, he was really honored but is waiting on Wake Forest and Bucknell to make a final decision…

Daughter was accepted, but with no scholarship and minimal federal aid (< 4k). That puts our cost at over 50k for Gettysburg, which makes no sense for us given that we live in Virginia and have our choice of a range of fantastic state universities…all of which are about 20k per year for tuition, room, and board.

Hmmm…20k for UVA, William & Mary, Va Tech, JMU, and a dozen other great VA schools…or 50k+ for Gettysburg. Not a tough decision. Too bad. Really liked the feel of Gettysburg, but not for a 30k premium.
