I'm just curious who is going to be a spring admit and what you are going to do up until January when you switch to USC (community college in Cali, elsewhere, or what)?

i actually will have 27 units of college credit done (12 GE requirements) from a combination of of AP test scores and community college classes so technically I don't really need to take anything. However, I will still probably take 2 or 3 courses at the jc. I mean the more you can get done the better, especially since USC is so expensive.

Just wondering, is community college the only choice if I wanna take classes for credit during those 3(?) months?

I don'tt think AP's can count toward GE's.

APs count for certain GE's but only a few, like AP physics will count for science i think, not sure. And i don't think community college is only choice, u can probably go to another school that you were accepted to and then switch that semester. Community college is cheapest alternative though and saves you a lot of money.

a 4 or 5 on AP Euro History, AP Art History, AP Biology, AP Physics, or AP Chemistry fulfills GE requirements in Category I and III

If you're an engineering major (and only engineering), you can use AP US History for something; I think its a 4 or 5 you need.
