Hi. When I am putting in courses for my California high school each year, when I start to type, nothing comes up. I just end up putting the exact course name as it shows on the transcript. Is this weird? I know someone else who has the same high school listed and on their Coursework entry - the class comes up pre-populated? Does it matter as long as I have the correct title listed on the transcript and then marked correctly as a-g? Thank you
I wanted to add that on the other student’s classes that come up automatically once they begin to type the class, a weird code comes up (like an extension to the class) and it doesn’t match the transcript? Anything to worry about?
Have you checked the a-g course list to make sure your HS classes match the approved list?

The Cal State Apply application was very glitchy last year so maybe there are still some bugs with this year’s version.

yes I am not worried about meeting a-g and I know which ones are “honors” for purposes of UC/Cal state - get the extra point up to 8 semesters. The person (I called multiple times) told me that just make sure that your course is exactly how it is listed on the transcript. And then match manually to a-g. Not an issue. Just weird bc the other kid from the same high school has his classes come up when he starts to type in the course (pre-populates). All good.
Maybe said student used this Academic Planner:
California students can launch their Cal State Apply application from within their account on CaliforniaColleges.edu. Doing so enables students to migrate their courses from the Academic Planner on CaliforniaColleges.edu to Cal State Apply, simplifying the process.
thanks @Gumbymom both users are using just a browser to open their cal state apply. they created an account and moved throughout the application. Very strange. If you have any other ideas, would love to. know. Although I feel better than the help center said as long as the courses are listed exactly like the transcript it is fine.
