<p>lol... hmm my guy friends say that about me... but they like talking to me and girls in general. i have a really good guy friend now and he asked, "do you ever call people to just TALK with them but w/ no real purpose?" and i said yes and he's like HOW?! hmm, guys are funny. i love boys. i'm better at talking w/ guys than girls. how strange. guys in general are just more understanding imo.</p>
<p>The only people I would ever call "just to talk" live several hundred miles away from me, and I'm calling to check up on them.</p>

<p>same here. I usually call people when I have to or when they're close friends that I dont see often, and even then, its just to ask if we can meet up and do something. I'm usually not the one to call "just to talk"</p>
<p>I hate talking on the phone too (I'm a girl, btw). I only call people if I have questions about anything or to nag a little. The only time that I do call for no reason is if I haven't talked to that person in like a year or something and need to catch up.</p>
<p>I feel bad for the guys who have to endure hours of "I'm bored...talk to me"s and they can't complain to them because well, that'll be mean.</p>

<p>I'm a girl and i HATE the phone too. Seriously the ones who talk for 4 hours about NOTHING important need to go read the newspaper or watch the news...maybe even finally figure out where china is!</p>
<p>If you like her or if you want her to still like you, sorry dude, but you will have to put up with her calls. Of course you should make it clear that you can't talk in the middle of the night or for more than 30 mins.</p>
<p>I'm a girl too, but I def don't like talking on the phone. So I will suggest you let her talk while you do something else at the same time (just make sure you hmm... or ahh... once in a while).</p>

<p>Not all girls talk and talk and talk. I don't like to talk that much. I just talk when I see the need for myself to imput into conversation. Not a big fan of small talk.</p>

<p>but just so you know, girls like being listened to (esp when they are annoyed/frustrated/have dilemmas or problems). and to be honest, in those times, i like talking to guys b/c they are less judgemental and don't gossip as much. but some things, you just can't talk to guys about. my school sucks though. i only have one friend who's a girl b/c all the people in my grade are boys.</p>

<p>all the guys of '06 and '07 have such poor selection they have liked every girl in their grade by the end of high school. and they continually move to younger girls. its really quite sad.</p>

But still. The selection at my school is quite poor.</p>
