HOW DO YOU ANSWER THAT? i hate those scholarship questions!

It a simple question and require simple answer. A) you can ******** and write something like: "because I get my breakfast from my neighbor trash, lunch from the dumpster, dinner from the waste management site."
or B) "I (input a synonym for deserve) this scholarship because it would help me fulfill (life long dream/promise to dying grandfather/fuel your desire for world peace). I would not waste this opportunity you would be given me, I pledge (my undying loyalty/soul/my first born) that I would fulfill my promises of getting this degree."
work for me just fine

great! any1 else?

ahaha well said RedDune

Depends what type of scholarship. If it is based mostly on need, it would be good to mention something like, "I would be financially unable to attend ____________ college without the help of scholarships such as this one. I have worked hard throughout school in order to attend a good college, and want to take full advantage of any opportunities, blah blah blah" If it is mostly merit based, it would be better to say something like, "I am hard working and will continue to be in college and throughout life. I want to attend _____college so I can be a well-educated contributing member of society, and do ______________ good deeds."
I agree that it is a horrible question to come up with an answer to. Kind of like having yourself as an essay topic.
