columbia and Penn have similar ED rates but cornell has the highest overall</p>

I mean really…is it appropriate to keep saying that u like it b/c it’s “easy” to get into on a thread where people are talking about fun things about Cornell…really…</p>

<p>crazyyy diversity (academics, as well as people), awesome “quaint” town, best Hotel Adm program, amazingly beautiful campus (though I’ve only seen it during the summer…), and Bill Nye.</p>

<p>I’m a grad school student. The reason why I attend:

  1. ____ program is strong, and my advisor _____ is very competent and well-respected, as well as nice.
  2. It is truly a well-rounded university, with strengths spread out in humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, hotel management, veterinary medicine, labor relations, you name it! Related to that, the best school motto: “I would found a university where any student can find training for any study.” So it’s good for my interdisciplinary interest.
  3. Idyllic and peaceful environment helps me blend into nature and concentrate on my studies.
  4. People are actually NICE and FRIENDLY unlike other urban colleges which I attended in the past.</p>

<p>A couple persons above mentioned that “Cornell is the easiest ivy” to get in, but Cornell really whoops many other ivies on the basis of both the individual department’s quality, and the university’s reputation as a whole! Speaking of people getting jealous…:)</p>

<p>i like it because the hotel school. everyone was really really friendly to me. i like snow. and it is the perfect distance from home.</p>
