Why Georgetown?

Well, I stole this from the Stanford board...

Why do (did) you want to attend Georgetown? What set(s) it apart from your other choices? Any specific likes or dislikes?

I will start.

I really like the campus. Small and cozy, it has a real "campus" feel. It is the perfect distance Washington, DC. All the opportunities but none of the "danger." The great internships. The great Political Science program. Georgetown`s famous prestige. Its selectivity causes the student body to be intelligent and hard working. The "work hard, play hard" mentality (studying during the week, partying during the weekend). The great athletics (mainly basketball). Lots more. I do wish they had a successful football team though...

Technicially GU doesn't have a Poli Sci program, they have government (COL) and international politics (SFS) but no flat out Poli Sci

Government`s what I meant--my bad...

The Georgetown community is amazing... the most caring, dedicated and social group of students you will find among all the top universities.

Plus, I'll be going there next year. (lol)

i want to go to georgetown! most amazing intl. relations program ever! EVER!!!! ahhhh i wish it was next spring already!.....hopefully i'll b seeing u guys on the hilltop soon
