why is ucsd so boring

No. It's a good college. The quality of the college is inversely related to the hotness of the females.

Untrue! UCLA has many many hot females!

i plan on going to sdsu for the parties
i hear it's only 15 miles away

i chose UCSD over UCLA : )

again, out of "the norm"

yeah i chose sd over cal and ucla and it's not unheard of, as you guys have said

they get kids into good law schools

my answer to the thread question:
because i don't attend yet. =]

and when looking at facebook, especially those that went to HS with me, it definately doesn't seem like people are not having a good time.

for the sake of easily confused people like me.

I will reinterpret what the poster above said as

It definitely seems like people are having a good time.

I chose UCSD over UCLA. I would've chosen UCSD over Cal had I not gotten rejected. I've noticed that it's quite common for people to choose UCSD over Cal but not over UCLA.

haha, looks like we should form a club. i also picked UCSD over UCLA. don't always be swayed by labels and generalizations cause thats exactly what they are, names and general evaluations for the GENERAL crowd. UCLA is a tight school, don't get me wrong, but i had my reasons for going to UCSD despite the fact that most people tell me i should have done otherwise. in the end, you're the person that's in charge of your own destiny.

i also chose UCSD over UCLA....although a main reason for it was because i live close to UCLA and didn't want to go to a college that was that close to my house.

YAY we SHOULD join a "i chose UCSD over UCLA club" yay! i vote sp0kenword87 for president! woot woot

why did you choose ucsd over ucla..im trying to decide where to go between the two

i saw a group on facebook for "i chose sd over cal" so maybe there's aleady one for la too.

@ COLLEGECHICKIE

shouldn't you have already decided by now? unless you're a junior in high school, of course

yeah..cus erm...deadline KINDA past on may 1st ...to be hoenst i didnt think i would get into either one i had EMBARRASING SAT scores...1560 : / imagine my shock when UCLA said they wanted me...hmmm

I'm also trying to decide between UCLA and UCSD. I'm a transfer, though, and UCSD has no housing for transfers. I'm still green and baby-faced, and moving to a new city and living outside the college just seems a bit daunting. But its so close to the coast! And it isn't as crowded as LA. I originally decided on UCSD until I found out about lack of housing. Now they look equal, and I'm in a massive state of indecision.

Ian, there are lots of very nice apartment complexes in the UTC area about 1/2 to 2 miles from campus that are largely populated by UCSD students. Remember that almost all 3rd year and above students live off campus. This UTC (University Town Center) area is very nice, safe, not far from the beach (short bus ride), and is served every 10 minutes or so by the free UCSD shuttle. If you mapquest or Google-Earth the UCSD area, the apartments are located around the nobel/regents/lebon/genesee/gilman area.
If you check out the roommate ads at the UCSD housing site you can probably find someone looking for a roommate or maybe you'll find someone on this board.

thanks a lot =)

lolz i woulda gone to ucla but i got rejecetd
