I submitted my priority date deadline last night.
Only thing is, they say they’re notification is “Dec.1-April 15.” Wow, only five months of not having a clue when I will know if I got in! Arghhh…

<p>i havnt applied there yet, but i know i will get it. Its one of my saftey schools....im guessing yours too</p>
<p>Not really.</p>
<p>The only person I have to compare is my Uncle Mike, who was rejected the first time he applied with a 1450 SAT. His 3.2 GPA might've had something to do with it. </p>
<p>They finally let him in because my Grandparents were in Saudi Arabia and he was living on his own at a boarding school in Portland.</p>
<p>UW Seattle? If so, did you apply honors?</p>
<p>Dec. 1 first is the financial aid deadline right? I turned it in already but i still gotta finish my honors stuff. If i turn in the honors stuff after dec.1 do i still get financial aid?</p>
<p>No, I didn't apply Honors, because a)my scores aren't high enough and b)I don't want to work that hard.</p>
<p>And what do you mean by financial aid deadline?</p>
<p>it says that to be assured of consideration for Washington merit scholarships, you got to send in all required docs.</p>
<p>Oh, okay. I thought there was going to be a bunch of extra forms and stuff, but since I'm not applying to honors I'm okay.</p>
<p>Phew!</p>
<p>I applied there as well. I have an 1130 SAT and a 3.32 unweighted GPA :P I won't get accepted but I want to go there sooooooooo much. Hopefully everything else in the app will make up for my low points.</p>
<p>So when does anyone think I will get notification that I was rejected? I sent the app yesterday and ordered the SAT sent out yesterday as well, and my school records were sent out today. Hopefully in like a month or two. I want to get over the rejected as soon as possible so I can go on stressing out about my 7 other colleges taht I will get rejected from :(</p>
<p>I submitted my application to UW at the beginning of this month, but they haven't even started to review my application yet! Some of the people in the UW community that I post at have already had their applications reviewed two to three times!</p>
<p>I guess I'm not in their line of automatic admission with my crappy SAT score. :(</p>
<p>I bet they skip right over me and dont even bother sending me a rejection letter.</p>
<p>Dude, don't get so down on yourself. </p>
<p>UW is not Harvard. Over 25,000 undergrads means SOMEBODY is getting in, right? Quick question, though, did you sent them a transcript? Seemed like on their website they pretty much said not to unless they contact you and ask for one.</p>
<p>On their website they asked for a transcript and everything.</p>
<p>Who Needs to Submit a Transcript? You must submit transcripts if at least one of the following applies to you:</p>
<pre><code>* College enrollment. If you are a freshman applicant who has been enrolled in college course work any time prior to your senior year of study, you must submit official transcripts from each such college attended by the application closing date. This includes course work completed during summer school, or via distance or online learning, Running Start Programs, or any other dual enrollment programs in which you have been awarded college credit by a regionally accredited college or university.
* Attended high school outside the U.S. If you attended any part of grades 9-12 outside the U.S., you must submit your official high school transcripts, along with official English translations of these transcripts and these must be original records directly from those schools (not just recorded on a U.S. high school transcript). For more information about what documents to send, consult www.freshman.washington.edu/apply/details/transcripts.htm.
* Homeschooled Documentation for course work completed through home school education must be submitted by the closing date. Consult guidelines at www.freshman.washington.edu/details/homeschool.htm or request Pamphlet #4 from Admissions.
* Attended high school with nonstandard or weighted grading systems. This includes schools that assign a value greater than 4.00 for an "A " grade. If you at- tended high school in California, for example, your school probably weights grades. If you attended a school with a grading system that does not restrict grades to an unweighted 4-point system, you must submit official transcripts by the deadline. Tran- scripts are also required for other nonstandard systems such as those using a grading scale of 0 -100.In these cases, ask your high school to include with your transcript (1) your class rank;(2) the phone number of the counseling office;(3) a key to the grading system; and (4) a school profile, including the percentage of graduating students going to college, mean test scores, distribution of grades, and graduation requirements.
* Student athlete. Students who expect to participate in intercollegiate athletics must submit the necessary information to the NCAA Eligibility Clearinghouse and must also submit transcripts to the UW at the time of application.
* No longer in high school. If you have already graduated or have left high school with no expectation of graduating, your high school transcript must show all course work completed and must be submitted by the closing date.
</code></pre>
<p>The following applicants do NOT have to send transcripts now: If none of the six situations above applies to you, do NOT send high school transcripts at this time.</p>
<pre><code>* Most applicants who attend only one Washington high school will be in this category. If, upon reviewing your application, the Office of Admissions determines that a transcript is necessary, you will be contacted.
* All applicants who are admitted and confirm their enrollment will be required to submit official final high school transcripts at the end of their senior year. Verification that all admission requirements have been satisfied will be confirmed at that time, and the offer of admission will be withdrawn if important discrepancies are discovered.

<p>Thats me....</p>
<p>I sent mine because I did foreign exchange.</p>
<p>Plus, on their application review website, they make it sound bad if you don't send in your transcript...</p>
<p>dreamkissed--you said in an above post that you know people who have had their apps reviewed already. How do they know that??? Were they contacted?</p>
<p>oh jeez, I submitted a transcript when I didn't need to. How do you apply for honors? I checked the box, but there was nothing else for me. I would like to apply for the honors program dang it!</p>
<p>If you've gotten your letter of confirmation from UW, you can set up an account so that you can check your application status online.</p>
<p>I've already set mine up and my hasn't gone out of preliminary review. ISome of the people on the board are saying that their application has gone into final review or something.</p>
