Will a 650 on the subject test hurt my chances?

I got a 790 on the lit and a 650 on us history.
My roommate thinks that the difference between being above and below 700 is big enough that this could end up pushing me over the edge one way or the other, but I know that Barnard tends to care less about standardized test scores, and I figured that the subject tests would matter even less than the reasoning.
If it matters, my SAT is a 2240 (800 reading, 650 math, 790 writing) and I got a 5 on APUSH.
I’m applying ED.

You are asking if it matters, so the answer is no (as you also mentioned “Barnard tends to care less about standardized test scores”). At least they are not gonna send you a rejection letter based on your SAT subject tests.
Plus, your Sat reasoning test score is strong enough if you are applying for ED.

Thanks for the reply, that makes me feel a lot better

Do they require subject tests? Or all scores? If not, you don’t have to send that one.

Unfortunately, they do require 2 subject tests. I don’t understand the point, especially if you’ve also taken APs, but c’est la vie.

I got a 550 everyone calm down.
