Will Academic Probation on my transcript ruin the chances of me getting into college?

I am currently a high school senior who is part of the Running Start program. I’m not sure if it’s called something different in other states but here in Washington, it’s what we call the program for those who are wanting to finish their high school graduation requirements as well as receive college credit. My first year of the program was last year, and after hearing mixed reviews about it I was afraid I wasn’t going to like it so I only did part time which is taking two classes instead of three. Since I was taking fewer classes than everyone else, making sure that I was doing well in both of my college courses was crucial so my college GPA wouldn’t fall behind. However, as my first quarter went by my family suffered a great loss as well as having other members going in and out of the hospital. This put me through a state of depression and made keeping up with school work hard, as well as having to take some time away from sports/clubs. I understand that this was no excuse to neglect my academic responsibilities and I would take it back if I could. I have to accept that that is what happened and move forward. I ended up receiving academic probation during my second quarter after one of my professors failed a majority (90%) of the class.

These past two quarters (Spring & Fall) however, I really pushed myself to do better and ended up getting a 3.5 GPA in both. I’m trying to get into UW Bothell or WSU Tri Cities but I’m afraid that the “Academic Probation” on my college transcript will grately affect my chances of getting into either. I have a 3.3 at the high school, and I was recently accepted into NAU. Any suggestions/comments would be nice. Thank you!
