Will any housing be available in late March?

I know housing usually fills up relatively fast, but I also want to know what other colleges I get into before I make a decision on Temple. Also, how difficult is it to get a spot in an LLC that late?

Hi! By what I know, 1940, Morgan Hall North and South, and most of 1300 are taken. :frowning: LLC applications aren’t due until May 5, I think.

@huet99 housing does fill up quickly putting down a housing deposit is a really good idea since it’s refundable. The LLCs take applications until late April. Last year my D applied to the LLC on the due date and got in. I think they might wait until the deadline to fill those spots. Also the LLCs move in a day earlier which is a great perk.

At the very least, I can confirm that they let me into the Honors LLC three years ago despite the fact that I placed my housing deposit at the last possible date (I was hovering betwen Temple and another school at the time). Other LLCs may be different, since Honors perks are automatic, but you’ve still got a decent shot in all likelihood.

Regardless, it’s not a big deal if you don’t get into an LLC – worst case scenario, you’ll still find people with similar interests and hobbies in your floor/hall no matter where you end up – but I do remember that many of the non-Honors LLCs looked pretty interesting, and they’ll be a nice plus during your first year. A friend of mine chose to be a part of the Sustainability LLC instead of Honors, and he liked it. They went on some special welcome week trips as a group, among other little community-building activities.

@OwlAMA Do you have a time frame on how long it takes to receive notification on your acceptance/rejection to an LLC? I applied to Fox’s today and don’t really know how long it could take to find out.

Hey I’m looking to go to Temple and will be making my deposit very soon, does anyone know if there are more spots left in Temple Towers?

I would call/email housing and ask them directly about any housing questions. They also have a Facebook page that they will reply to if you post a question on it. Going directly to them will get you the most accurate information.

@zstu2021 Temple towers is not freshman housing. Are you a freshman?

@jnkam24 I came across an article that talked about TU closing their Peabody Residence Hall, and because of that Temple Towers would be open to freshmen. So I was assuming it was going to be
