-----Schools:

Top Choices in Order: UC Berkeley (Econ) N.Western, NYU (Stern), Cornell, UCLA (Plain Econ)

Mid-Choices: University of Pennsylvania (Wharton), University of Chicago (Booth), Northeastern University, University of Washington (Foster), Bentley University

Cushion Schools: ASU, UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis, UC Riverside

-----EC's:

Notable Clubs include Phi Theta Kappa (Honors Society), Future Business Leaders of America (Phi Beta Lambda), Accounting and Finance Club, Adamant (National Marketing Organization), Honors Club

I was in Associated Student Government for two years, holding officer/senate positions both years (Social Student Involvement Coordinator and later Executive Vice President)

Founder of "Kick It!", a club that combines the unstoppable minds of engineering majors with the ambitious endeavors of Business Students to piece together a business plan by the end of each academic year, to be presented to online crowd funding websites.

Founder of "Foodie Club", a club with the sole purpose of taking its members out to eat at local venues. Raised money to pay for its members through restaurant sponsorship and several bake sales on the college campus. It promoted cultural immersion and social development for students.

Started a business with a partner that shoots to encourage innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit from anyone and everyone. It hosts a crowdfunder (like Kickstarter), an Idea Bank (like a regular crowdfunder except the donors come up with the idea), and an e-Commerce store for people to sell their successfully funded projects. More to come, but it is still under heavy development. Link: http://crowdvoyager.com/

I was employed by the college as a student adviser. It is my job to guide and aide (though not dictate or manage) several students per day with their education. I helped create Ed-Plans, direct students to certain facilities, inform them of certain clubs or organizations they may be interested in, and answer general questions about the college.

---Other Notable Qualities and Experiences (Essay Material)

First in my immediate family to attend college. First male within my extended family to attend college. First male out of extended family on my mother's side to graduate high school on the first try (I have about four older male cousins) Only other educated family members that received an education were my godmother (Poly Sci) and female cousin (currently studying law)- both went to Berkeley- I plan to carry the tradition.

Just as my paternal grandparents and my very own mother struggled to make ends meet when they first arrived from Mexico, I too have come to experience my family and I fiscally plummet to the ground. Both parents are now unemployed; we are still struggling. I know how it feels to struggle, and I recognize opportunity when I see it.
