Hi All,

Last year at this time my D was trying to decide between three different schools. One of the factors was money. My D had received some nice merit scholarships and when she only received a small amount of money from the most expensive school on her list, we were very disappointed. Luckily, my husband called and spoke to the financial office at this pricey private school. They were willing to match any scholarships that she received at other private schools, but most of the other schools were public. Fortunately my husband can be very convincing and we were able to get the school to increase her merit scholarship by $3,000. It was still pretty ridiculous considering the cost of the school and the fact that we were aware of their huge endowment, but hey- every little bit helps! DON'T BE AFRAID OR ASHAMED TO CALL!! You have NOTHING to lose and everything to gain! Good luck!!
