Will colleges think I cheated?

Took the PSAT in the fall of junior year, got a 212. Then took SAT in the spring of junior year and got an 1830 lmao.... I messed up the SAT pretty bad, but I'm taking it 2 more times (oct. and nov.) planning to get a 2000+. Will the drop from 212 to 1830 raise a flag? Or will they just think I had a bad testing day?

Erm. Colleges don’t see your PSAT score. (o__o) Unless you sent it to them. And that would only be possible if your score qualified. And if it did, then it would only be a problem for becoming a semi-finalist because your score should match.

Other than that…hahaha. No, colleges will not think you cheated.

Erm, colleges can see the OPs PSAT score as he/she will be commended.

They probably wouldn’t assume that you cheated. I read that the CollegeBoard may investigate a score shift above 300, but your score difference isn’t quite that high. Plus, they probably don’t investigate disparities in the PSAT and SAT. So, if CB isn’t suspicious, I don’t think colleges will be. I think if you can raise your score (likely since you did that well on the PSAT), they will assume you had a bad test day. It is to my understanding that an outlier is assumed to be a “bad test day”.

TLDR: They won’t assume you’re a cheater.
Good luck in raising your score!

Oh, and as they said, they probably won’t see your PSAT! :p
