Hey guys,
I am planning on rooming in Cawthon hall, the music dorms, but am nervous that it's going to isolate me to just music. Although music is my lifes passion, I also want to experience everything college offers, including meeting new people from all different majors. If anyone can offer an insight to this concern I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks

:P Your dorm placement doesn’t isolate you, you can meet many people from various major, there’s lots of events going on weekly at FSU. Many organizations and clubs to join will introduce you to new people form various major.

What will isolate you is your actions. If you relegate yourself to just the music department and people that are majoring in music-related stuff, then that’s what you’ll find dominating your life.

If you get out and explore and meet new people, join clubs and participate in on-campus activities, then you will be exposed to so much more. But you first have to get out and explore.

^Go with this answer. It’s correct.

ok, thanks a lot for your help!
