I have a 2.7ish unweighted and a 1320 SAT. This year I have three APs and two honors classes, and am getting straight C's and one F.

Do you think FSU will rescind my admission? Will letting them know about my F ahead of time do any good?

Thanks...

Tough question, though your more challenging course load will be in your favor. The SAT score will help, too. However, the senioritis/slacker message unfortunately comes through.

I hear that June is when the transcripts of graduating seniors are reviewed for compliance with the conditions of admission. Your hs guidance counselor may be a better person to ask, as they likely have seen large numbers of kids' grades and have a good sense of the situation.

If it was me, I'd probably call and check with an admissions officer. I don't really see what harm would be done.

Chances are you won't get a certain answer at this point from FSU since it probably depends on the quality of the other members of the freshmen class, and until they see the whole class they won't know where the lines will be drawn.

The final transcript letter FSU sent a few weeks ago said "If you are receiving low grades in your senior courses, you should contact our office immediately. D's or F's in your senior courses may result in your admission being rescinded." I guess it depends on if the "F" course was an important required course, or just an extra elective.
