<p>If I get C's in both Calculus BC AP and English 12 AP, do I stand a chance of my application getting rescinded from either NYU or CMU? I've gotten accepted into both. I've gotten A's and B's my entire high school career, and I really find it hard to believe that two C's in AP classes will ruin my acceptances. My grades are borderline B-C in both classes, but I'm just thinking worst case scenario. I just don't know the answer, and I don't want to take any chances. I, like most who applied to these difficult schools, worked my ass off through high school, and honestly a little "break" would be nice before college to just relax and enjoy my accomplishment. But if my first two C's ever, both in AP classes, will get my application rescinded, I will certainly not take any breaks</p>

<p>Don’t get C’s. You will probably not get rescinded but why do that to yourself at this point. Given what you have done in the past, is getting an 80 in both those classes really that tough?</p>
