Will I have the chance to renew my scholarship next year?

I have decided to take a semester off this year and start in the spring due to the death of my mom and her funeral stuff. The school had gave me some scholarships that require a certain GPA for renewal. I was wondering if I take a semester off this year, will I be able to renew the scholarship next year using my GPA of spring semester only?

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your mother.

You should give a call to the Financial Aid or Admissions Office and explain your situation. For stuff like this it is best to get information from them.

Very sorry to hear of your loss.

Definitely call as Jimgotkp suggested. From what I remember, at least some of the renewable scholarships (Trustees, Presidential, etc.) require continued enrollment at Purdue.

Found the specific wording:

[Purdue University: Undergraduate Studies Program: Information for Prospective Students: Coursework: Scholarships](http://www.purdue.edu/usp/prospective/pro_scholarships.shtml#trustees)

Please call Purdue for help with your situation.
