Will it arrive on time?

Hi guys.

I was wondering if anyone of you seniors out there that took the SAT II or SAT on January 24th know if your scores have arrived in your respective colleges that you guys are applying to. All of the universities I have applied to have yet to receive my scores so I’m a bit worried. A few colleges warned that if it is not in by Feb. 10~ then my application will be disqualified.

Can you guys give me advice on what to do (safety alternatives?), and a confirmation on your situation? I just want to know if it is only me facing this problem.

Thanks.

According to the CollegeBoard, the first date that the scores will be sent out is Feb. 12. http://sat.collegeboard.org/scores/availability

For those that designated colleges to receive scores in their test registration and did not exercise score choice as to any prior scores, CB will actually start sending the scores two business days before they are released to you online, meaning they could be sent as early Feb 10. If you exercised score choice on any prior scores, they will likely will not be be sent until Feb 12. As to timeliness of delivery to colleges, as long as (a) the college says it accepts the Jan scores for RD, (b) you designated the college as one to receive scores in your January test registration, and © nothing happens to put a hold on the release of your scores (e.g., a South Korean cheating scandal), your scores will be delivered on time for the college to consider them.

You mention a school that appears to require scores by Feb 10. That could be a college that does not state it accepts Jan scores and thus the Jan score may be too late for it but you need to confirm one way or the other with the college.
