<p>So I got a 29 on my ACT. I have an otherwise strong application, but should I not even try to apply? I'm retaking it twice, so I've got two more shots to raise my score.
A+ average GPA, great recs, essay, year abroad. I also have a unique career plan, combining journalism and biology in hopes of becoming a science writer.</p>
<p>um. 29 is definitely going to put you in the bottom of the applicant pool, if not throw you out. 29 is like less than 2000 on the SAT. you definitely need to retake it.</p>
