Will my community college credits transfer to Pace university ..Help is needed

I am currently a student at a community college in Virginia. I am finishing my associate of science. My GPA is 4.00
I really want to live in new York. That's why Pace is the logical option considering the rest are so picky...Chemistry major
I already got accepted at VCU and GMU
I went to the school and talked to the admission, they said yes your credits will transfer if it's c or higher!
But I don't buy this, I checked their website and I found out only two courses have equivalent in that university which is ITe115 which a computer class and mth 163 Precalcus class
I really need any advice that is possible...
I don't want to be in a situation where they tell me oh well you have to repeat like 40 credits of the courses you have already taken!
They have an instant decision day where you only have to take your application and letter of recommendations, go there and they tell you right away if you are accepted or not.
I don't want to pay hundreds of dollar to go from Va to NY only to realize I have to repeat everything!

Why not finish up at VCU or GMU and then move to NY later?

No one except the people in the Recorders Office at Pace can tell you which credits will transfer and which won’t. Try to get in touch with someone there. They may be able to help you figure out which credits will transfer and as what. Often a full AA/AS degree will be accepted as covering all of the gen ed courses, even if none of the courses taken at the original CC has a direct equivalent at the accepting college or university. That might be the case at PACE.

Thank you for this information, I will try to call them on Monday to get more details…

hundreds? Try thousands. do you realize how expensive Pace is? Will your parents pay the cost? If not, finish where you are and move there later.

I"d ask each U you’re considering for a WRITTEN evaluation of how the coursework you complete at your CC will transfer at your proposed course of study at the target U. You also need information on further requirements to get your degree at your target U. You need it in writing toward whatever degree you are pursuing.

Agree, you need to get a handle on how your expenses and tuition will be paid wherever you are planning to transfer to. Us can be VERY expensive, even when you are able to transfer with credits. Be very wary of taking on significant debt, especially if you have affordable in-state public U options where you can get your degree with little to no debt.
