Will my "favorite line from a movie" ALONE get me in?

The chance that a single quote will make adcoms disregard 4+ years of work? Pretty much -5%.

EDIT: Woah! How is my post above the OP's?

From Die Hard with Avengeance:

“You all right?” “Yeah, yeah. It’s not my blood.”

how did you get ABOVE me!!!

WHAT THE HELL!!!

Hahahaha! This made my day! :D

EDIT: To answer your question, I agree with tristan101. Your quote can help you get in by giving you some character in the eyes of an adcom, but I highly doubt it can get you in alone.

On the other hand, it could very well get me rejected If I were perfectly honest about it:

“English mother******, do you speak it?!”

Self realization: I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said: “I drank what?”

from Real Genius

Yeah, how did that person get above the OP?

tristan101 FTW

Did you manually change the time stamp on your computer/router/somewhere when you posted?

Noooo, when I clicked Post, it just happeneddd … lol. I’m still confused.

I wish I had put “How bout a Fresca” now.

Tristan, I don’t normally “chance” anyone - but dude, you will get in everywhere. You’re superhuman.  :D

“It’s only a model.”

tristan101 has defied logic lol. HAIL HIM!!! lmao

lol, tristan. & no.

HAHA I was uber confused at first because of tristan!!! LOL its happened to me where I was adressing the post above me but I ended up above them!!! THe CC system can be slow sometimes and it happens sometimes when a person posts really soon after another person.

i said

“You’ll meet someone. Someone very special. Someone who won’t press charges.”

-Addams Family Values ;)

Mine was from a book. I was cliche and chose Harry Potter, but I had to because it’s a wonderful quote:
“It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.”

I found another good quote the other day that I wish I would have put, it was something like “You can tell the measure of a man by how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.”
