Will my IB grades ruin my application?

In my first year of IB I got a 36 with a D in my TOK (because of my group mate).
Our school’s GPA system is weird so a 36 is a 3.58 :frowning:

I have international recognized awards and good extra curricular activities, and if I work hard I can make 32+ ACT possible.

Is there anyone who was accepted to top tier US universities with low ib scores?
Or just judge me :frowning:

Your actual predicted scores from this year will matter more than last year’s.
A 36 IB (no need for that GPA approximation that your school does) is a good score anyway.
You’ll have lots of possibilities.
More essential since you’re international, how much can your parents afford?
