I'd like to think that I am a strong candidate for most schools.....I'm ranked in the top ten percent of my class (15/173, catholic school in mass), have a good list of extra curriculars, have volunteer work, and have worked 15-25 hours a week at a sub shop since junior year without my grades going down. I'm currently taking three of the possible five AP classes (psych, english, and art), and am doing very well.
however, my math grades/SAT grades leave me very worried.....I took the SATS in may and scored a 600 in reading, 570 in writing, and 510 in math. I'm expecting the writing and reading to improve signifigantly, but not my math. I struggled through algebra one honors and geometry honors before dropping down my junior year to a "regular" level class and proceeded to struggle even more. after much consideration, I chose to take AP psych instead of a pre calculus class so that I could take more history and possibly succeed in a higher level class instead of struggling in a lower level one.

I have no interest in going to the school of business or even arts and sciences-I want to study communications and art. Is there any chance they might overlook such abysmal math grades in my favor?
comments much appreciated, thanks :)
