Will it hurt my Yale SCEA application if I choose not self-report scores on the common application? The only reason that I am asking this is because I took the ACT in September of 2015, and although I have received my composite score I am worried that my writing score may not arrive in time for me to submit the application with my ACT score self-reported (obviously in addition to the official score reports that are sent directly). Thank you in advance!
No it will not hurt your chances; report all your scores as you have them – Composite, English Math, Reading and Science. Yale will receive your Writing score directly from the ACT’s Official Score Report. Many student’s are in the same situation as you, so no worries.
