I know that pre pharm has a lot of science such as chem physics and biology…etc but in high school ive only taken biology because chemistry or physics were never required and plus I was homeschooled my last two years…will pre pharm be hard for me since ive never taken chemistry or physics as a high school student
It could be harder for you than for someone who had physics and chemistry in high school.
What are your ACT/PSAT/SAT scores?
How much math did you have in high school?
Any AP exams?
My highest level is geometry id figure a my junior college I could start off with intro to chem pre calc and algebra 2…would that be good…I scored really high on psat and I was sick and missed both days for my scheduled sat
You will definitely need to take more than 2 years before going into a PharmD program. The classes are not easy but your GPA is very important and your PCAT score. How high is really high on your PSAT?
I belleive my selection index scor was 1350 or 1300
Do you mean 130 or 135?
You could opt in to start the pre-pharm program with intro courses, can’t you?
With only one year of science many colleges would automatically reject you for any major.
Are you sure you want to go into pharm, or is this a parent wish or you want to make a lot of money?
I just want to do something challenging I like to be challenged, any suggestions ?
If you like to be challenged, take calculus, physics, chemistry and organic chemistry in college.
yes VERY hard.
