Will retaking a class affect my transfer eligibility?

<p>I am currently in my first semester of college at a community college and plan on transferring to a UC in Fall 2016. There are two classes I am having trouble with. They are both transferable, a lecture and a lab. The lecture is 3 units and the lab is 1. Even though the semester is not over yet, I think the highest grade I can get is a D in each class, but I have A's in the other three I am taking. If I retake these two classes in the spring will it affect my chances of getting into a UC?</p>
