Will schools look at ny mid year report?

None of the colleges I applied to request my mid year report but my schools sends it any way. The send everyones mid year report to every school they applied too. The problem is that mine are bad not OMFG I Got a A- bad my grades are -
Engineering - A-
English - D+
Physics - C
Economics - B
Pre-Calc - F
Gym - B

So if they these are sent to schools without them requesting them will they take them into consideration?

Please don't turn this into you need communtiy college because both my parents went and said it's the worst decision of their lives.

Sorry if it sounds like a five year old wrote this Im doing this from my phone.

Depends on college, many who do not ask for a mid-year report will not even consider anything sent at this time.

Do you think they would have asked for them by now, if they are going to want them?

Depends. Many schools update their profile on you whenever they receive new information, regardless of whether they request it or not. However, in regards to grades this normally only applies to GPA updates, not mid-semester progress reports. If those grades are on a 7th semester transcript though, odds are good they’ve read through it and updated your GPA, even if they didn’t ask for it.

My gpa is low for the school I applied to but my SATs are above their averages will it balance out?

That depends on how their office/committee makes their decisions. If it’s a competitive admissions policy (I’m assuming from your post it is), then it might balance out. If it’s a guideline admissions policy, as long as your GPA is above their minimum, you’re likely fine. However, a lot of schools have a somewhat hybrid policy- competitive admissions with their own internal guidelines for minimum GPAs and test scores to consider (which often are not advertised, the committee may be the only ones that know their guidelines)- so there’s no easy answer to your question. I don’t want to pry too much, but it might help to know where/what kind of schools you applied to.

Eh, who knows! Depends on how good or strict the school is. I’m going to guess (and make you happier) by saying that it’ll probably be just fine :)

U of Massachusetts - Amherst
U of Delaware

They are the only two non saftey school I haven’t heard from yet and they are my 1st and 2nd choice.

UConn asked for mid-year reports from me in early January, which were sent shortly after the semester ended in late January. Other schools asked for them as well, but I just chose to send them to every school I applied to.

Do these schools ask for year-end reports?

If so, what are you doing to bring up those grades?

Do not let senioritis get in the way of your future. :)

My grades second half should be -
English - A - Different teacher from 1st half english
Government - A - Different teacher from Economics
Physics - C
Engineering - A
Gym - A
Law - A

If I get ^those^ grades second half will I be Okay?

What about pre-calc?

Ummm…Well it was a half year class, the second half I was supposed to take Intro to Calc but since I failed the first half they won’t let me take the class.

How rigorous is this schedule?

Math - 4 years - 1 honors
Science - 4 years - 2 honors - Physics and Chemistry
English - 4 years - 0 honors
Social Studies - 4 years - 0 honors
Spanish - 2 years - 1 honors

To gauge how rigorous that schedule is we need to know how many honors/AP level classes were available to you.

Did you apply to schools (or majors) that expect to see 4 years of math (including Pre-cal)?

If you did, then you need to quickly apply to a school that only expects up to Algebra II.

I have four years of math I took 9th grade math in 8th grade, so I have four years, I have algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Trig.

My school offers 6 AP classes.
