I applied EA to Northeastern and got accepted to their University honors program, with a 22k scholarship.
I did quite well first quarter, but second quarter my grades dropped severely due to numerous reasons and they're terrible. I went down by around 12-3 percent in each of my seven classes.
I was planning on bringing up my scores again third and fourth quarter to make up for the second quarter fumble.
I school used to have this policy where if you wanted mid-year reports sent to colleges, you had to fill out a form for it. This year, out of the blue (last week), they announced that they were going to send mid-year reports to all school automatically (regardless of whether you were already accepted or if the college wants the scores).

I know had terrible my grade must look to the college. I spoke to my guidance counselor, and she said that nothing bad would happen, and that the people wouldn't care about mid-year reports, however she isn't known for being right.
Should I email Northeastern and explain to them why my grades were poor this quarter and state that I'll make it a priority to improve my grades for next two quarters to make up for it?

Sincerely confused, scared and worried,
High School Senior.
