I got a 64 in the regents but 80 in the class in the report card gave me NC until i pass the regents in august and give me an 80. Will this hurt me as of right now is it a big deal in august they will give me the grade i earned an 80.
What your school does with Regents grades is a matter of school policy, so your best bet is to email your guidance counselor.
I’m guessing you’re a rising Senior? If so then what happens between now and August doesn’t matter at all. But make sure you pass that Regents. Get the Barrons book and work for a while every single day.
If you’ve just finished Senior year, and have an acceptance to college, this is a bigger deal. Again, talk to your guidance counselor.
Good luck!
There is at least one summer retake date. You won’t get your high school diploma without passing, and it might be a problem is you applynto any SUNY schools. You still have your 80, but you won’t actually finish high school until you pass it, so study.
Which subject was it? Not all of the Regents exams are given in August - only the ones that are necessary for the basic Regents diploma.
Geometry
I believe that one is given in August. Is your school offering summer school? In my district, if you pass the class, you can attend a 6 day review session to practice for the test.
Good luck.
Geometry is necessary for a diploma. Retake it in August-- and make sure you pass it!
