<p>they may be slightly confused, but does your GC say you want to major in business? It could just be that you had a passion for learning about it in HS. Either way, I’d try to make that clear why you are applying the way you are in your app, and perhaps discussing your business interests?</p>
<p>In your essay, make sure to explain how your passion for business fits in with the ILR curriculum (business law, HR, business economics, labor relations, etc). I had a recommendation from the head of my school’s business department and I got in, so I’m sure it won’t make or break you. Just make sure you don’t seem like an all out “business student” in your essay or they’ll wonder why you’re applying to a school that isn’t a business school per se.</p>

<p>You absolutely need to make sure you connect business and your love for it with your love for ILR. If, however, you want to consider business, have you looked into AEM in Dyson?</p>
