I've been deferred from umich... and I want to improve my chances for admissions. I got a 26 on the ACTs, but I never submitted the score to the admissions office. I only sent them my SAT score. Do you think that submitting a 26 ACT will hurt or help me?

Thank you!

what was your sat score

not good… it was an 1830

what did you get on the SAT and what are your stats?

I won’t do either. A 26 is less compared to a 1830, so umich won’t even look at it.

i would recommend you not submit it

I also got a 26 on my ACT and an 1800 SAT (im not a good test-taker). But i had a 3.95 in a full IB Diploma programme schedule at a magnet school. So I got accepted in december. Your test scores do not matter if your GPA is high like 3.85+
But if your GPA is low too its a good idea to at least have high test scores (2050+ or 31+) to be a competetive candidate.
