Will UC Irivine even consider me?

<p>I am trying to transfer from CC to UCI. I have all As and Bs except for 3 Ds that I have acquired over the past few years. I have retaken one course and should get an A, but there are two more Ds on my transcript. I am retaking both classes this fall. </p>

<p>If I apply in November for fall 2012, I will have a 3.08 GPA, and my transcript should show that I am in the process of retaking the two other courses I received a D in. My SAT score was 1970, I am not sure how much that matters.</p>

<p>Do I have any chance at all? This next year will be my third year at CC. Am I looking at four years before transfer?</p>

<p>You’re just slightly off from the 3.2 GPA mark.</p>

<p>Unfortunately I have no tag program set up, I haven’t been taking the proper courses. I could do TAG if I go to CC for four years though. . .</p>
