I would assume as long as it was not part of the provisional, you should be fine. But you need to contact admissions.
@Realgeukrak How did this work out for you? I’m in the exact same situation with 3 C’s in total for senior year and I am SO worried. I’m an art major and the classes were AP Econ and Math – two areas which do not pertain to my major – but I’m still really worried.
Hi guys! I am a transfer student with TAG to UCD. This spring I received a D in one of my transferrable math course. My UCD admissions condition said that I had to earn at least a C in all of my Spring courses with 3.2 or higher. I obviously didn’t get that. My overall GPA comes down to 3.17. Do you guys think my admission will get rescinded? I am waiting to hear from UCD.
Also, I am re-taking the course I failed right now and should be finished by August. Do you think they will let me take it in summer?
@Anna24
It honestly doesn’t look good. Your TAG will be voided because of your drop in GPA. In some situations, they could still let you in on regular admission. BUT the fact that you got a D in a math course is what I think is going to sink you. If it is your only transferable math class, I think your chance of getting rescinded in 99%. If it was a major prep class, same thing. If you already have a transferable math class, and if the D class isn’t a major prep class, then your chances are slightly better.
@2016Candles My major in non-selective and I already have a transferable math course. I just hope that they will give me a chance to make it up in summer.
