Will UCSD transfers get to choose their own e-mail account name?

<p>Thanks guys; Rooble how do you have your e-mail account already – are you like Grimes doing summer session too? I was under the impression that non-summer_school students receive their e-mail account no earlier than mid-June.</p>

<p>anyone know what happens if you have the same identitcal name as another student?
so lets say my name is DOE<em>MIDDLE</em>JOHN there’s another guy with the exact name, do they get a DOE<em>MIDDLE</em>JOHN2? lol</p>

<p>Please be on alert. UCSD Police are investigating an attempted kidnapping that occurred on 5/20/2011 at 8:00pm just West of the Geisel Library. The victim reported that an unknown male came up from behind, put a paper bag over her head and attempted to drag her off the pathway. The victim was able to pull free and flee.</p>

<p>The suspect is light skinned, with wavy brown hair, approximately 5’9", medium build and was wearing blue jeans.</p>

<p>how obscure can those details be? “light skinned”? lightskinned asian? black? white? latino?</p>
