Hey guys, I was accepted to the engineering undeclared major at UIUC this year, but after succumbing to senioritis, I'm worried that my admission may be revoked.

First term was ok:
compsci elective 1 -- 95
Compsci elective 2 -- 85
english -- 95
AP physics C -- 96
Economics -- 75
Math research -- 97
phys ed -- 97

Second term is not so good, these are the grades I am expecting:
compsci elective 1 -- 90
compsci elective 2 -- 65
english -- 65
AP physics C -- 75
US government -- 80
Actuarial Math -- 100
phys ed -- 88

Am I likely to be rescinded? What can I do to improve my chances of matriculating? (semester is over, so I can't help my grades)

It is true that we will review final high school transcripts as soon as final grades are available (usually in early summer). If a decision is made to rescind an offer of admission in the summer, it will be due to the fact that there is a significant decline in academic performance. Therefore, if a student is doing extremely poorly senior year, we assume that they would be in contact with our office a little sooner regarding their status. Usually, these students arrange a back-up plan just in case their admission is in jeopardy.

" I’m worried that my admission may be revoked"

And the solution is simple yet difficult. Call , with your hat in your hand, and be ready to plead. Call NOW. Because if they do decide to rescind you, you need back up plans ASAP, not in three weeks.
