Will when I take my courses matter? VERY odd transfer case (details). I repeated F courses.

I intend on applying to non impacted majors at all the UCs. I had been diagnosed with ADHD after my first quarter and later went through a bout of depression. However once I got my act together I wanted to make a point that this is not reflective of my capabilities and did not do a course overload. Yes I am taking 5 courses in the summer. My counselor found it absurd at first glance but once I told her the details she thinks it is not a bad idea. I knew the material from my failed courses I just felt blank and had no desire/motivation due to depression. I intend on repeating all my F and W grades and replace them with As. I have very good extracurriculars, the only reason I was able to work towards them was because they were my outlet/escape from depression. They happen to be related to my major (rhetoric). I obviously wont be working on them in the summer.

Spent 1 year at an University abroad, ended up flunking out. Came back home and went to psychiatrist. Diagnosed with ADHD. The grades do not transfer over to the UC system thankfully because they are incompatible.

I’m not sure exactly what the question is.

If grades aren’t transferable they won’t care about them.

They won’t look at your high school grades so they are irrelevant (unless you can use two years language for IGETC).

Assuming you got good grades in summer, they’re fine with it.

Why don’t you have spring 2018? Keep in mind UCD TAG wants full-time both fall and spring, unless there is good cause. They make their own determination re good cause which makes it unstable IMHO.

The only possible glitch would be if you load a lot of major requirements spring term.

Oops I forgot to ask the question. Do you think I stand a chance at the higher ranked UCs for unimpacted majors? The grades of the college courses I took in high school will count because they are transferable to UC for credit based on what a Berkeley transfer rep told me when I called them up.

Oh I only mentioned up till Fall 2017 because only grades up till fall are counted towards GPA evaluation in the application

Oh, they’re college courses. Got it.

Yes, you are eligible for top UCs.
