I’m pretty hopeful we’ll all start to hear responses this week (dec 1-dec 6)

I’m pretty sure I got rejected, guys. I just wish I could be given the chance. I am starting my applications to other places now. It just doesn’t feel the same.

@jpvn2015 how do you know already???

@Michigan4435 I just have a feeling, bro.

Don’t rule anything out until emails are sent :)

@daniil450 I know, but I’m pretty sure a rejection is inevitable. But regardless, I wish everyone the best of luck. Whether I get in or not, I’m positive the William and Mary class of 2019 will do great things!

@jpvn2015 dude (or dudette) you sound like a pretty awesome person because of your wishes for those who get in, so wherever you go, YOU’LL do great things. If you dont get it, it’s their loss, plus hang on to some hope! It’s what keeps this insane world somewhat tolerable

Best of luck to everyone this coming week. I am sure whatever answer they give us was meant to be .

ok, so should I expect an email on Monday? or just sometime this week? or a tangible letter this week? ugh so nervous

@Michigan4435 an email sometime fhis week! They will blog about the release of emails so you’ll know in case yours takes a while to go through.

Hey everyone! I’m new to College Confidential, but with decisions imminent, I couldn’t stop myself from jumping onto this discussion… hope you don’t mind! W&M has said that decisions won’t come out on the 1st, and since last year with the extended application deadline they came out on the 6th, I’m guessing they’ll come out on an earlier date this year… maybe the 2nd? I’m so anxious to find out. Best of luck to everyone!

Good point @frizzy . I suspect we will have an answer via email early this week. Probably Tuesday or Wednesday. We will probably then get our letters later in the week or early the following week depending on location.

@Excitedforschool Thanks for those kind words, man. Isn’t the in-state early decision acceptance rate for men about 50%? Even then, it’s still a reach. haha

thank you

@jpvn2015 I thought it was 48% for ED out of staters (all genders). Perhaps I’m wrong, but we’re all killing ourselves over pointless numbers LOL! We’ll all just have to wait and see 'til (hopefully) Tues or Wed. And you’re instate? Then you have a good shot on that alone haha

@Excitedforschool Yeah I believe it’s in the high 40’s, but I thought for male in-state early decision it’d be at least 50% since females generally have a more difficult time getting accepted due to the number of applicants. And yeah I’m in-state male, which should really help me out. I also have some uniqueness due to my state championship title. Still have a bad feeling though.

keep your head up man, i’m rootin for ya

They typically release around 5 PM, right? I know they say they don’t have a set release time, but that seems to be the case with most colleges. I can’t remember what times W&M has released in prior years.

yes, i do think so… @ribbonroad224 do you think decisions will come out on Friday?

@coco5945 Honestly, I have no clue. People on here think decisions will be released on Tuesday or Wednesday which would be great. I don’t think decisions will come out on Friday.
